There are 30 new laptops available for loan at the Tamaki Campus Library. Borrowing them could not be easier. If you have not borrowed a laptop this year, you just need to fill in a short registration form. You only need to do it once each year. The Library staff will issue you with a laptop which you can use for two hours. If you want it for longer, just bring it back to the desk and we will issue it for another two hours. You do not have to stay in the library - just make sure you bring it back after two hours. You can of course connect to the library wireless network.
If you are looking for computers to sit at, the new Tamaki Campus Library has 28 and the Information Commons adjacent to the library has 42. The Information Commons is available to use when not in use for teaching. Both are open:
Monday – Thursday 8am – 8pm
Friday 8am – 6pm
Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm
There are also 32 computers in the 723.131 Computer Lab, and 30 in the 710.323 Computer Lab (this is the old library Information Commons). These labs are open Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
