Biological Sciences and Marine Science
This year marks the centenary of the natural science fiction novel The Lost World by the celebrated creator of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The University of Auckland Library has recently acquired three major new online resources in Biological and Marine Sciences, namely: Encyclopedia of Animal Behavior, Treatise on Estuarine and Coastal Science and Bernhard Grzimekās Animal Life Encyclopedia.
For three weeks beginning on May 23rd there will be an exhibition in the General Library foyer (ground floor) concerning the late Professor John Morton (Biological Sciences) which will run concurrently with the exhibition on the late Kenneth Cumberland (Geography).
Radio New Zealand National's Science programme Our Changing World featured a number of staff from the University of Auckland's Faculty of Science in November and December. Links to the audio are included.
