Radio New Zealand National's Science programme Our Changing World featured a number of staff from the University of Auckland's Faculty of Science in November and December. Links to the audio are included.
The 25 November programme featured two members of staff: Associate Professor Joanna Putterill from the School of Biological Sciences' Plant Molecular Science Research Group. She was interviewed about her work investigating changes in the flowering of plants.
Professor Margaret Brimble from the Department of Chemistry was also spoken to about her work with medicinal chemistry.
The 2 December programme featured Associate Professor Kathy Campbell, from the School of Environment, looking at how to determine ancient environments.
The 9 December programme included a feature on the 50th anniversary of the laser. Among the interviewees was Dr. Cather Simpson from Photon Factory in the Department of Physics and their work on molecular dragons.
