The online resource Counseling and Therapy in Video is now available to on-campus University of Auckland Library users on a trial basis. The trial lasts until 4 July 2009.
This collection currently provides access to about 300 hours of video. Material includes:
- real and re-enacted therapy sessions
- consultations (experts advising other counsellors)
- lectures
- presentations
- interviews.
Many videos come with transcripts, teaching guides, and study guides. They can be searched, or browsed by subject, therapy type, therapist, or theme (e.g. race, sexual abuse, age & aging).
