Today is Jane Wild's final day at The University of Auckland Library. Jane joined the Library in 1999, becoming Manager of the Symonds Street Group. She has managed both the Fine Arts Library and the National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries Libraries and Special Collections since 2008.
Jane has been a very kind and thoughtful manager. She has always been supportive of the development of all staff, allowing us to work to our strengths. Her passion for the Library’s special collections has been infectious and has helped to spark many new initiatives. However, what we will especially miss about Jane is her unique sense of style, her enviable jewellery collection, her delicious baking and her calm and gracious presence.
She will be truly missed and we wish her the best of luck in her new position as Research Centres Manager at Auckland Libraries.
