The fourth Auckland Art Fair opened last night, the first event to be held at the new Viaduct Events Centre. The biennial event runs though till Sunday August 7th and features 40 curated exhibitions from New Zealand and Australian galleries as well as a daily programme of events. Programme highlights include keynote lecture, ‘How an artist becomes known’ presented by New York based Knight Landesman, publisher of Artforum and ‘True Stories Out Loud: Seven people from the art world tell a true story’, presented in conjunction with Metro magazine.
