From the 20th of May to the end of July pedestrians walking through the Bledisloe walkway can view three new photographs in light boxes by Allan McDonald. Entitled Arcade, these photographs depict the interiors of thrift stores. They are similar in theme to McDonald's SOMETHING / NOTHING series of which four works are hung in the Fine Arts Library. However, in this current display, as the name suggests, the imagery evokes the sense of entering a sheltered walkway.
