Gowns to be Worn in District Courts

Chief District Court Judge Russell Johnson has made the decision that barristers' gowns will be worn by counsel in district court jury trials. This is an extension of the rule adhered to by high courts and willl take effect on 28 February. The decision is supported by the Law Society. Read more here.
