Let's hear some more about BookPC

We will be holding a focus group session to discuss some of the policies for the BookPC system. 
We are looking for input regarding how you use the system and how we can set our BookPC policies to suit the way the system is being used.
 
The Focus Group will be held in the Kate Edger Information Commons on:
Tuesday, 25 January, 11:00am – 12:00pm
Monday, 31January, 2:00pm – 3:00pm
If you are interested in attending, please:
  • apply by e-mailing ichelpdesk@auckland.ac.nz
  • include subject line “Focus Group Application”.
  • include your name and ID number in the e-mail
  • include the date and time you wish to attend.

As a token of our appreciation for your input, all attendees will be given a free movie voucher.

Booking of PCs/computers has caused incoveniences at the IC(Kate Dadger building at the city campus). This is because some students book copmputers and they don't make use of the time they have booked the computers. Therefore, this may be hard for students who might have not book PCs earlier,however,there could be immediate need for them to use the PCs.Therefore, a differnt approached may be employed to balance the need of both PCs and computers among students. 1/26/2011 3:54 PM | Peter

The bookPC system should contain a penalty system in that if one does not turn up to a booked PC three times then they cannot book anymore for say a few weeks.... 2/16/2011 3:51 PM | Caleb
