Ngā Kupu Ora, Māori Book Awards 2012

This year's Ngā Kupu Ora awards have been announced by Massey University.  All winning titles are held in the Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library and the General Library, University of Auckland.  It is fantastic to see that Dame Kāterina Mataira was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award.  Dame Kāterina's work is also very well represented in the Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library, and was the feature of an extensive memorial display in the library this time last year.

The winning titles are:
