Statistics NZ seminar on prices

Statistics New Zealand

Statistics New Zealand are offering a free seminar on prices on Thursday 30th August 2012 from 10am -12 noon.


The seminar is an introduction to the Consumer Price Index, Labour Price Index and Producer Price Index; how they are constructed as well as their application in people's daily life, businesses, education and decision making.


The seminar is for those who use price indexes or want to use them for contracts/determining prices/decision making.  It will include background information on methodolgy and construction of indexes. It will also discuss the update of the Industrial Classification and rebasing of indexes.


The seminar will be held at Statistics NZ, SAP Centre, 67 Symonds Street, Auckland.  For further information you can contact 'Ofa Ketu'u.
