Social and Cultural Statistics Unit at Statistics NZ will run a hands-on workshop on the General Social Survey (GSS) 2010 confidentialised unit record file (CURF) dataset on Monday 19th March, 2012.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to gain a high level understanding of Statistics New Zealand and one of its products - microdata. Attendees will also be able to manipulate the dataset using appropriate analytical software. CURFs are useful to test hypothesis of research work or as a base dataset for university research.
