OECD iLibrary: access to OECD publications, data and analysis

OECD iLibrary is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The database gives you access to the full text of their published books, working papers and journals, including the OECD Economic Outlook and the OECD Economic Surveys, and covers the following themes:

  • Agriculture and food, Development, Economics, Education, Employment, Energy and nuclear energy, Environment, Finance and investment, Governance, Industry and services, Science and technology, Social issues, Migration and health, Taxation, Trade, and Transport.

A main feature is access to OECD statistics where you can build your own tables, or view ready-made tables.

Finding country information

Are you looking for country information and data, country comparisons or country risk information?  The Business Librarians have created a useful topic guide on Country information and how to find it.

The topic guide provides links to databases and websites that provide information and data on country profiles, economic comparisons, risk, forecasts, country updates and much more.

Included on the Country information page is a Country comparisons Library resource guide,  a step-by-step guide that outlines the research process and which databases to use when undertaking economic comparisons of countries.

RefWorks - reference management tool

RefWorks

From 2013, RefWorks will be the primary reference management tool at the University of Auckland. It is a web-based tool that requires no upgrades, facilitates collaborative work and is available to alumni.

The Library will be running transition workshops for users changing from EndNote to RefWorks. For further information about RefWorks see the Library's page, or enrol in a workshop.

Emerging Asia database

The EMED Emerging Asia database provides economic and financial time series data for 20 Asian countries. The data includes national accounts, balance of payments, trade and investment statistics, government revenue and expenditure, interest and exchange rates as well as demographics, tourism and labour market figures.
