The published works of Elsdon Best
This collection contains 15 of his ethnographic works on Māori culture and history. Some of the works were originally published by the Dominion Museum in Wellington, where Best was employed. For a brief introduction to Best's life and work, see this entry in the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography.

Beginning with the Hilltop Literary Paper, this collection aims to gather historical student magazines from Victoria University of Wellington. The Spike, Arachne and SMAD are resources that will be included in the future, giving insight into early 20th century student life in Wellington.
Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic expedition (VUWAE) reports
This collection provides a record of research expeditions carried out by Victoria University to Antarcica, covering a time range from 1959 to 2010. The research of the Antarctic environment that was conducted during these exhibitions included aspects such as geology, glacialogy, meteorology and biology.
