The Listener

You can now see the entire run of the British Listener magazine on the Library website. The Listener Historical Archive covers the magazine from its inception in 1929 until it ceased publication in 1991.

British Literary Manuscipts

The collection of British Literary Manuscripts Online is now available from the Library website.

This database has facsimilies of manuscripts dating from 1120 to 1900, including letters and diaries, drafts of poems, plays, novels, and other literary works.

Next Census to be held in March 2013

Statistics New Zealand has welcomed the Government's decision to hold the next census in March 2013 and has begun work on the project.

The exact census date is expected to be announced later this year, after Parliament approves legislation required to hold a census in 2013.
