Romantic Era Redefined cross-searchable via NINES (Nineteenth-Century Scholarship Online)

Hester Lynch Piozzi

The Romantic Era Redefined is now indexed and completely cross-searchable via Nineteenth-Century Scholarship Online (NINES).

Enabling cross-search access to its databases is part of Alexander Street Press’s ongoing effort to improve scholarly access to digital humanities resources. Now researchers looking for nineteenth-century primary materials using the NINES interface will pull up search results from The Romantic Era Redefined together with relevant materials from 88 other federated sites. This makes it much easier for scholars to find all of the relevant content out there—content that is not currently indexed by search engines or widely available on the Web.

In addition to The Romantic Era Redefined, other Alexander Street Press collections indexed in the NINES and its sister organization 18thConnect: Eighteenth-Century Scholarship Online include Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period, and Scottish Women Poets of the Romantic Period.

Genres represented include poetry, drama, novels, letters and diaries, as well as political and philosophical works.
