Sometime in the latter part of this year the current search interface for MLA International Bibliography will change.
In order to evaluate the different interfaces the Library will arrange trials of those that are available. Currently the Library has a trial from Ebsco, which is linked from the existing
MLAIB connect page.
We would like your feedback on Ebsco, including any comparison with the current version if you are an existing user of the database. If you are a new user then your likes/dislikes on the functionality of the search interface will help us make a decision.
A demonstration of the Ebsco interface will be given on Thursday 24th June at 2pm in KEIC 431. You will have the opportunity to make searches and ask questions. Please
book a place if you would like to attend this session.
Toward the end of this month we will trial ProQuest’s version of the MLAIB. We will notify you when this becomes available.
Please send any questions or feedback to
Linda George or
Mark Hangartner .
