Trends in Classics

Trends in Classics is now available online from the Library's website.

Trends in Classics

The aims of this new journal are described in the Editors' preface in the first issue:

"Both Trends in Classics (TC) and Trends in Classics Supplementary Volumes (TCSV) aim to reflect current, theoretically informed approaches to classical literature. Recent years have seen a revolution in the study of ancient literature from various perspectives – cultural studies, linguistics, literary theory, poetics. Against this backdrop, Trends in Classics will highlight interdisciplinary work which brings to the study of Greek and Latin texts the insights and methods of related disciplines such as narratology, intertextuality, reader-response criticism, gender studies, and oral poetics. The journal, which will appear twice a year, will publish English-language scholarship by both young and more established classicists."

The Supplementary Volumes are available in the Library.
