Audio Drama: The L.A. Theatre Works Collection delivers more than 300 important dramatic works in streaming audio. The plays include some of the most significant dramatic literature of the nineteenth to twenty-first centuries performed by leading actors from around the world and recorded specifically for online listening. The recordings are high quality, easy to stream and offer the option to create personal or shared playlists of whole plays or individual tracks.

The initial release of Audio Drama includes over 180 plays but the database will continue to grow regularly to over 300 plays. Additional indexing at the track level will also be added during 2010, enabling searching by specific academic disciplines and subject keywords.
The plays are chosen not only for their literary significance, but also for their ability to challenge presumptions and examine complicated moral and ethical questions. Titles include:
