Claude Levi Strauss dies

The French intellectual, Claude Levi Strauss, has died at the age of 100.

Claude Levi Strauss

He was a member of the Academie Francaise since 1973, author of many works, with some of these held in the University Library.  He was an exponent of structuralism.
