Library Research for Classics & Ancient History

Welcome back for Semester II.

There will be a couple of Library workshops for Classics & Ancient History post-graduate students in the next few weeks. These will be especially useful if you are beginning a dissertation or thesis, but anyone is welcome to attend.

We will look for material relating to your research topics using Library resources:
Online databases and print bibliographies.
L'Année Philologique, JSTOR, Project Muse, Periodicals Archive Online.
Finding theses and dissertations.
Getting the most out of Google Scholar.
Interlibrary Loans.
Keeping up to date with new books and articles.

Venue: General Library computer training room (Level 3) Floorplan

The second session will cover a similar range of topics, but focussing on resources for Egyptology including the print and online versions of AEB Annual Egyptological Bibliography and Aegyptos.
