International Encyclopedia of Communication - Online Trial

This is a searchable online encyclopedia published by Wiley-Blackwell in association with the International Communication Association. It comprises over 1,330 newley-commissioned A-Z entries, divided into 29 editorial areas representing major fields of inquiry, each of which is headed by a leading expert in the field.

Open Access Sources for New Zealand History

I recently had an enquiry about getting access to NZ history sources when you are no longer at university. Looking around, there are lots of resources freely available on the internet (and I mean going beyond google and wikipedia). Manuscripts and Early Printed Books (Bodleian Library, University of Oxford) is a another new addition to the ARTstor database.

ARTstor News

New additions to the ARTstor database include:

  • Classical Sculptures (Berlin State Museums)
  • Images of Pre–Columbian objects and sites from the Moreen O'Brien Maser Memorial Collection (Skidmore College)
